Hi, and thank you for being here.

I’m Zahra , a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. I also completed a Diploma in Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counselling at George Brown College.

As a counsellor, I have supported women from different walks of life, while deeply valuing their lived experiences as the guiding light in our work together. The perinatal period is a season in your life with so many expected and unexpected moments of change , transition , growth or loss. What your family, friends or colleagues may not recognize is that these changes, happening alongside other life responsibilities, relationships, and past experiences, can leave you feeling exhausted , depleted or scared . I am here to support you in navigating, making space for and sitting with the thoughts, feelings and experiences that may arise during your perinatal journey.

My approach to therapy is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally inclusive framework with collaboration, curiosity, empathy and respect at the heart of the therapeutic relationship . I draw on emotion-focused, cognitive and relational modalities to promote your growth and wellbeing .

Hello, my name is Jasmine. I support individuals navigating the perinatal period, including shifts in identity, changes in relationships, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and mental health challenges. I am a student therapist currently completing a graduate Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy, and I plan to register with the CRPO upon graduation. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology.

My approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relational. My work integrates somatic and relational approaches. In addition to my training, I bring lived experience navigating the challenges and complexities of the perinatal period. I aim to provide a gentle, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where we can slow down together, explore your experiences, and make sense of what you’re going through with care, compassion, and curiosity.

As a second-generation South Asian Canadian, I am mindful of cultural complexity and intergenerational dynamics that can shape identity, family expectations, and emotional well-being. I strive to create a space where you feel understood and supported during the perinatal period.

Hi there, this is Jenny.

I was born and raised in mainland China before immigrating to Canada in my 30s. Before relocating, I practiced as a psychotherapist in China for six years, focusing extensively on complex PTSD and intergenerational trauma. To restart my career here, I went back to grad school in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto, working toward my professional license in Ontario.

Though I’ve never been a mother myself, my clients, friends, and family have taught me that motherhood can be both a crisis and a chance for deep transformation. I’m here to support you through the whole journey — from decisions about discontinue a pregnancy, to miscarriage, to the stress during pregnancy and postpartum.

My therapy style is shaped by AEDP and intersubjectivity theory, so I stay closely attuned to emotion and to what unfolds between us. Based on my past experiences with trauma, I prioritize safety, but don’t shy away from the darker corners of the human psyche. I’m a proud woman and feminist, and I welcome people across the full spectrum of gender, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, family structure, and culture.
